Ten years, one story: Our 2025–26 Impact Report is here

What does it take to build a bridge?

Not steel, not concrete — but trust, presence, and a love that stays.

Ten years ago, Tek Ura began in a single borrowed room in Tirana. Today, our new Impact Report tells the story of two community centres, 14 Albanian staff, and 537 people who find community, care and therapy with us every single week.

This has been a year of milestones. In February, over 100 supporters from around 30 Baptist churches gathered at Whetstone Baptist Church for our ‘Closer’ celebration — less a formal event, more a family reunion. In Durrës, we completed the purchase of 366 sq m of land beside our centre, 100% funded by supporters — a permanent home for the Senses Café & Play vision. And Komuniteti i Besimit, our community of faith, saw its first baptism in Durrës itself, with the Thursday cell growing from 27 to over 50 each week.

“Ten years ago this was a dream spoken in another language. Today it is our church — Albanian voices leading worship, Albanian hands breaking bread.” — Juri Arapi, Pastor

None of this happens without you. Every page of this report is evidence of what your prayer, giving and going have built. Thank you.

See, I am doing a new thing… I am making a way in the wilderness — Isaiah 43:19

The next decade is about who crosses the bridge — Albanian-led, globally connected, and rooted for good. Read the full Impact Report at www.tekura.org/en/impact-report
