A radically inclusive church
A spiritually healthy community — collaborative, Albanian-led, and equipped to live out God's kingdom values in the middle of everyday life. Belong before believing.

Albanian-led
In many Albanian communities, disability, ethnicity and poverty still push people to the edges — and the established church has too often felt closed to them. Here, belonging is the exception rather than the rule.
Where there was once division and mistrust, there is now a vibrant, worshipping community. Many of our members came with painful stories and none were part of a church when they joined. Today, an average of 136 people meet each week across 10 cell groups — low-cost, high-impact structures where faith is formed and neighbours become family.
We are a values-led church, increasingly led by Albanian leaders, growing spiritual life and community cohesion side by side.
“My son is not tolerated here. He is not an extra — he brings something. When we have communion, Andi passes the bread, and people smile a real smile. I started believing again, because I watched him be loved, week after week.”
How it works
A shared meal, a cell group, a welcome with no conditions. Belong before believing.
Worship, friendship and sensory-inclusive gatherings where every person takes part.
Albanian leaders raised up from within, and new cells planted across two cities.
“Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”
Romans 15:7
New life in 2025
The church keeps growing — in numbers, in leaders, and in ways of welcoming everyone.
An inclusive way to engage children and people with additional needs in the life of faith — born from our rehabilitation work, so no one is left on the edge of the community.
136 people now gather each week across 10 cell groups in Tirana and Durrës — increasingly led by Albanian leaders, raised up from within the community.
Our story
In 2016 there wasn't a church in Kafja e Rremes — the community was so divided that some neighbours refused to share a room. A church emerged from a weekly gathering of men meeting to wrestle with life and faith.
In May 2018 we baptised our first believer and the cell church Komuniteti i Besimit Tek Ura was formed. In October 2019 the church called Juri Arapi as its first Albanian co-pastor, working alongside founding pastor Dan Dupree. From those first four cells, the church has grown into the two-city, ten-cell community it is today.
From the beginning, Tek Ura has hosted pioneer training for pastors and leaders across the denominational spectrum — and continues to raise up Albanian leaders for the years ahead.
